A living archive · public preview

Preserve the experience, not only the file.

Jarassic Park helps people find, understand, and carefully replay the small worlds that once lived in Symbian phones. Every playable game comes with its evidence, environment, and rights boundary.

01 / Why this exists

A small archive for big feelings.

A game is more than a package. It is a version, a screen, a keyboard, a runtime, a sound chip, and the conditions that made it feel right.

We document those relationships so a future player, researcher, or curator can tell what was observed, what was reconstructed, and what still needs proof.

02 / Featured evidence

One lead. Every clue.

A visitor should be able to see the next preservation action without hovering, guessing, or downloading anything.

03 / Two paths into the archive

Same pocket. Different evidence.

Java ME / J2ME

The paired lead

A MIDlet is more than a familiar title. Keep the JAR, its JAD, manifest, device assumptions, and runtime settings together.

Native Symbian

The signed world

A native package brings a different contract: OS/UI generation, signing state, firmware dependencies, and device profile.

04 / The field kit

Start with an open lead.

The first test environment is intentionally small. It can prove the loop without automatically downloading a commercial binary or firmware image.

05 / Access boundary

Open infrastructure.
Careful access.

Metadata, source trails, and our preservation tooling can be shared openly. Commercial binaries, firmware, music, artwork, and manuals stay separate until their rights and access conditions are known.

We are incubating in public. If you have a build, device note, rights lead, or a correction, help us make the record more exact.
