01 / Why this exists
A game is more than a package. It is a version, a screen, a keyboard, a runtime, a sound chip, and the conditions that made it feel right.
We document those relationships so a future player, researcher, or curator can tell what was observed, what was reconstructed, and what still needs proof.

Metadata, source trails, and our preservation tooling can be shared openly. Commercial binaries, firmware, music, artwork, and manuals stay separate until their rights and access conditions are known.
